Each restaurant’s mission page says basically the same thing, about helping the community, providing good food, bringing people together, and being sustainable. It’s truly a wonderful message, but are we really cultivating change for the future?

Factory farming supplies 99% of all animal products that we consume, and most of our fruits and vegetables have much less nutrition when they reach our grocery stores due to the long transportation period. Restaurants have slim margins, and unless the business model changes we are stuck in a constant cycle where the lowest priced food will continue to be served at local restaurants.

We decided to change it up a bit…

We are a neighborhood eatery bringing about a new way to restaurant. Making food that we feel good about feeding you, and you feel good about eating. Using local produce as much as possible, we aim to change the stigma about fast food. It all starts with our ingredients. Our business model allows us to focus on connecting people to real, nutrient dense food without the typical mark up. Our shared kitchen space model also allows us to cut down on energy consumption and waste by coexisting with other businesses.

Farm+Crave marks the start of something new by going back to the basics.

By empowering our team to constantly explore ingredients, we are able to provide creative dishes that appeal to everyone! Starting with our process, we can make conscious decisions that not only benefit us but just as important, Mother Earth. We believe in bringing the community together, sustainably, and providing the best food possible, just as many other restaurants also believe in, but we want to do it differently. Our promise is to be completely transparent with you at every step of the way as we set out to change the future of how we connect with our food. We put an emphasis on exploring vegan ingredients and when we use meat products we follow strict guidelines and limit how much we use on a monthly basis. So if you see that certain meat products are not available when you’re ordering, that’s why.
